Angela (she/her) graduated from Boston College in 2022 with a B.A. in Psychology and a concentration in clinical psychology. As an undergraduate, she worked at the MGH Dauten Family Center for Bipolar Treatment Innovation under the supervision of Drs. Andrew Nierenberg and Louisa Sylvia.
In addition, she completed a senior honors thesis under the supervision of Dr. Ellen Winner exploring the impact of film consumption on college students’ social biases.

After graduating, Angela joined the McLean Pediatric Mood, Imaging, & Neurodevelopment Program, where she coordinated studies examining the brain and behavioral mechanisms of irritability, suicide, and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors in children and adolescents.

Angela is passionate about expanding access to mental health care for adolescents, and developing novel, low-barrier interventions for underserved populations. She is also interested in examining differing responses to stress as potential predictors of self-injurious behaviors.

Angela is thrilled to join the lab as a Research Coordinator! Outside of the lab, Angela enjoys taking yoga classes, hanging out with her new cat, and picking up new arts & crafts projects.
