  • Find a quiet place free of distractions (if possible - some exercises can be done anywhere)
  • Get in a comfortable position - doesn't have to be lying down
  • Choose a word or object to re-focus on every time you get distracted
  • Don't worry about how well you're doing
  • Don't like the recordings? Write your own script and record it!
  • Feel like you don't have time for these exercises? Try doing a shortened version for about 3 minutes:
    • while waiting for the bus or class
    • before a test or presentation
    • any time you'd be on your phone instead
    • in the shower
    • before bed
