Representative Katherine Clark of the 5th District of Massachusetts has been a staunch advocate of funding for the National Institutes of Health and for behavioral and brain science. She is a leading advocate for trauma-informed care in schools and the health system. Lab Director Katie A. McLaughlin met with the Congresswoman along with Randy Buckner, Charles Nelson, and Jeremy Wolfe to discuss funding for early childhood interventions to prevent the health consequences of trauma exposure and other health priorities.  We are grateful to the Congresswoman for her tireless efforts to support research on mental health and child development!
