Klaudia

Klaudia is originally from Poland, where she studied British English Philology with a focus on Linguistics. She came to the US on a work-study program in 2012. Shortly after she began studying Psychology at Harrisburg Area Community College. During her studies at HACC she traveled to Romania on a study abroad trip. Through work with various nonprofit organizations, she gained knowledge about promoting positive youth development in the face of stress and adversity. These experiences have led Klaudia to develop a research interest in understanding the biological mechanisms through which childhood adversity contributes to risk for psychopathology and other negative outcomes. Klaudia is currently working towards her Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Linguistics from Bucknell University. In her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, yoga and photography.
