Nessa Bryce earned her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences from Quest University Canada. After graduating, Nessa joined Dr. Catherine Hartley’s lab at NYU as a lab manager, trading the rainforest of British Columbia, Canada for the concrete jungle of New York City. Nessa is very excited to be in Boston, as it feels so much like home despite being on the east coast. She is obsessed with the default mode network, but is also broadly curious about how the brain gathers, integrates, and evaluates information. She hopes to, through her graduate research, explore the basic mechanisms behind these complex functions, both across development and in the context of psychopathology.
